Directions for Use:

Scoop out the needed amount of powder. Apply water to make a toothpaste consistency. Cover with plastic wrap and make several toothpick holes in the plastic wrap. Within 24-48 hours after the powder has dried, remove the poultice and the stain will be gone!

*Using distilled water for your poultice is especially a good idea when working on calcareous stone surfaces because acidic liquids can damage the calcite in the stone if left on the surface for an extended period of time. Since the poultice requires the liquid and the working time, using water that is acidic could end up "etching" the stone right where the stain was removed.
